I recently made a quick trip to Banff to see how much snow had fallen. I left at Calgary at 5 AM in anticipation of getting some sunrise shots. Unfortunately clouds and snow impacted that opportunity. Nevertheless I was able to get this image on the sunrise on the Bow river this morning as well as some panorama shots (see the Landscapes Gallery) of Lake Minnewanka. I will be going back again later this month for more Winter scenes. Thank you for visiting and Merry Christmas.
